She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Strand and Charlotte Strand (Bomer); her siblings, John and Kathryn; and her close friend Kelvin Jones.
She is survived by: her sisters, Barb Wingerd of Hastings, Iowa, Joyce Howrey of Glenwood, Iowa and Jona Nelson (Randy) of Villisca, Iowa; and her uncle Stanley Bomer of Glenwood, Iowa. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the LeRette Funeral Chapel, Inc. (1995 G Ave, Red Oak, IA 51566).
