The memory of Timothy Ripperger of Glenwood, Iowa, who passed away on September 19, 2025 at the age of 62, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Joseph Ripperger and Margaret Henrietta Ripperger (Mulica); his grandparents, Michael, Katherine Ripperger, Donald and Anna Mulica; his siblings, Michael, Mark, Dennis, Dianna Craig and Beverly Keimig; his brothers-in-law, Harold Hubatka, Russell O'Neall, Fred Stickels and Walter "Bud" Craig; and his siblings' children, Denise O'Neall, Matthew O'Neall and Dannel Ripperger.
He is survived by: his sisters, Carolyn Hubatka of Afton and Barbara Mathews of Creston; and his siblings-in-law, Sue Ripperger of Creston, Penny Ripperger of Thayer, Retta Ripperger of Afton and Don Keimig of Portsmouth. He is also survived by 20 nieces, nephews; several great nieces and nephews, and many cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Powers Funeral Home - Afton (612 N Dodge St, Afton, IA 50830). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Edwards Catholic Church (104 W Union St, Afton, IA 50830).
