He was predeceased by: his parents, Shirley Lucht (Sill) and Harold J. Lucht; his brother-in-law Robert Bernard; his aunt Betty Schechinger; his uncle Wayne Lucht; and his cousin Randall Lucht.
He is survived by: his siblings, Carol Bernard of Carroll, David Lucht (Debra) of Minburn and Connie Wiederin (Kenneth) of Glidden; his nieces and nephews, Jeffrey Brant of Carroll, Allison Meyer of Ralston, Tyler Lucht (Amy) of Adel, Dustin Lucht (Beth) of Ames, Weston Lucht (Michelle) of Perry, Jason Wiederin (Kim) of Glidden and Nick Wiederin (Christy) of Glidden; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Brayton, Brianna, Blake, Brayden, Brenna, Landon, Adalynn, Lillian, Ethan, Aiden, Teagan and Peightyn; his uncles, Ron Lucht of Coon Rapids, Richard Lucht (Judy) of Des Moines and Carl Schechinger of Hutchinson, KS; and his aunt Grace Lucht of Des Moines. He is also survived by several cousins, other extended family members; and many awesome friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM at the Peace Lutheran Church (226 W 7th St, Glidden, IA 51443). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
