He was predeceased by: his parents, Mearl Pottroff and Fern Pottroff (Sindt); his brother-in-law Lawrence Krause; his sister Phyllis Anthofer (Anthony); and his nephews, Larry Krause and Delwin Krause.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Turner; his children, Daniel Pottroff (Denise) of Glidden and Diana Pickup (Calvin) of Monument, CO; his grandchildren, Sara Pickup, C. J. Pickup (Mattison), Matthew Pottroff (Jess Pounds) and Bethany Rojo (Alonso); and his great grandchildren, Catalina, Sebastian, Luciana and Olivia. He is also survived by two nephews; one niece; and other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Anthony Hospice.
