She was predeceased by : her parents, Kenneth Blades and Anna "Jeannette" Blades (Clark); her brothers, Steve, Ronnie and Wayne Blades; and her grandson Joseph Landon Blades.

She is survived by : her children, Joseph Blades (Kayla) of Glidden, IA, Jeannette Hernandez of Fort Dodge, IA and Dannette Amodeo (Lucas) of Dedham, IA; and her sisters, Sharon Henderson of Des Moines, IA and Nitaya Blades of Lake City, IA. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, two great-grandchildren.
