He was predeceased by: his parents, Esther Breidert (Boji) and Leonard "Red" Breidert; his in-laws, Vern "Dutch" and Vi Knute; and his brother William Breidert.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy of Glidden; his children, Tammy Wessman (James) of Lake View and Bill Breidert of Glidden; his grandchildren, Katie Breidert, Carter Shedd and Kortney Webb (Jason); his great grandchildren, Jaydon, Aryiana and Alexia; and his siblings-in-law, Cindy Weaklend (Ron) of Fremont, NE and Bruce Knute (Doris) of Glidden. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
