She was predeceased by: her parents, Willi Eggert and Hildegard Eggert; and her husband Douglas Turner. She is survived by: her children, Kurt Turner (Shari) of Ankeny and Denise Smith (Dean) of Des Moines, Iowa; her grandchildren, Whitney Kolbe (Dave) of Ankeny and A. J. Turner (Baylie) of Ogden, Utah; her great grandchildren, Chase, Charlie Kolbe and Chloe Goucher-Turner; and her sister-in-law Sherry Gartin (Larry) of Ankeny, Iowa. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and many close family friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested for Suncrest Hospice or Peace Lutheran Church Quilters.
