He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Halfpop and Fannie Halfpop (Landon); his wife Susan; his granddaughter Kenlee Sue Uhlenhopp; and his brother Roger Halfpop.

He is survived by: his pet Gus; his children, Robert Halfpop (Debra) of Belmond, Renee Uhlenhopp of Wellington, CO, Rodney Halfpop (Sherri) of Garner, Ryan Halfpop (Heather) of Goodell, Randy Halfpop (Tina) of Fort Collins, CO and Rachelle Johnson (Anthony) of Renwick; his grandchildren, Corey Halfpop, Clarissa Halfpop, Chelsey Halfpop, Cheri Halfpop, Kyle Uhlenhopp, Karter Uhlenhopp, Jamie Trenhaile (Halfpop), Jesse Halfpop, Britany Stroble, Breana Halfpop, Brylee Halfpop, Kayla Johnson, Kaitlyn Johnson, Kolten Johnson and Kaden Johnson; and his brother Keith Halfpop (Karen).
