He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Learned and Matilda Learned (Harms); and his siblings, Doris, Bettie, Edgar, Howard and Robert.
He is survived by: his children, Crystal Wilks (Mike) of Gowrie, Cathy Miller (Rick) of Gowrie, Caryl Cleveland (Dean) of Badger, Carrie Dalley (Bergan) of Gowrie and Charles Learned of Fort Dodge; his grandchildren, Tanner, Bryant, Emily, Nick, Tyler, Kyle, Skyler, Heather, Abby, Jameric, Nina and Izzy; his sister-in-law Judy Allgood; and his pet Socks. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the United Methodist Church (1306 Market St, Gowrie, IA 50543).
