It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Schealler (Graettinger, Iowa), who passed away on September 24, 2025, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Doris has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Wobbe and Dora Wobbe (Luke); her son Jerome Schealler; and her sisters, Margaret Wobbe, Gertrude Wobbe, Beatrice Johnson and Wilma Bormann.
She is survived by: her children, Ann Turletti (Luigi) of Bryon Center, MI, Kathryn Helmich (Steve) of Graettinger, IA, Alan Schealler (Brenda) of Greenville, IA and Paul Schealler (Kathy) of Madrid, IA. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, and 27 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at 3:30 PM and from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (503 W Olive St, Graettinger, IA 51342). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
