It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Lee Carlson of Graettinger, Iowa, born in Estherville, Iowa, who passed away on October 12, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Carl John and Rebecca Ruth Carlson (Johnson) of Graettinger; and his siblings, James, Orville, Geraldine and Virginia.

He is survived by : his wife Judy; his children, Tara (Tim Wirta) and Greg (Ann); his grandchildren, Lindsay, Tyler Wirta, Chad, Mitchell and Carlson; his sister Winifred; and his brother-in-law Jon (Judy Krieger). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
