He was predeceased by: his mother Shirley "Dee" McMurtry. He is survived by: his wife Michelle Cuthbertson of Graettinger; his children, Ryan McMurtry (Alyssa) of Estherville, Hailey Sundall (Michael) of Ruthven, Brandon McMurtry of Estherville and Ian Derrickson of Graettinger; his father Duane McMurtry of Estherville; and his sisters, Becky Huntley (Sam) of Scott City, Kansas and Christine Tromblay (Adam) of Slayton, Minnesota. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the family.
