The memory of Marvis M Duus of Graettinger, Iowa, who passed away on April 15, 2025 at the age of 92, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Luhman and Edith Luhman (Peebles); her daughter Debra Tweedy (Duus); her son-in-law Randy Simington; her siblings, Ina Mae Voigt (Bill), Roy Luhman and Fred Luhman (LaVonne); and her sisters-in-law, Elvera Anderson (Emmet) and Virginia Norland (Jerry).
She is survived by: her children, Kirk Duus (Deb) of Pinconning, Michigan, Kristyn Simington of Emmetsburg and Kevin Duus (Tracey) of Graettinger, Iowa; and her sister-in-law Gerda Luhman of Graettinger. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the United Methodist Church - Graettinger (102 S Cameron Ave, Graettinger, IA 51342). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
