He was predeceased by : his parents, Glenn Jones and Darlene Jones (Berner); and his grandson Hunter Williams. He is survived by : his former life partners, Jody Kay Davis and Jean Marie Peterson; his fiancée Joann Williams of Graettinger, Iowa; his children, Nathan Jones (Judy) of Sun Prairie, Alexander Jones (Chelsea) of Carlisle, Jon Williams (Lana) of Emmetsburg, Ryan Williams of Prairie City and Eric Williams (Kiley) of Waukee, Iowa; his grandchildren, Matthea, Grady, Tatum, Reba, Asher, Holden, Greenlee, Tony and Levi; and his sister Nita Jurgens of Ames, Iowa. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family to be donated to various organizations.
