It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Grace Kinney of Grand Mound, Iowa, who passed away on April 22, 2024, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Bernard Green and Susanna Green; her husband Clarence George Kinney; her grandson Joshua Grimm; her sons-in-law, William Anderson, Bernard Sundeen and Dale Holst; and her brothers, Leo Green, Joseph Green, Harold Green, Howard Green and Frank Green.

She is survived by : her children, Thomas of DeWitt, Roger (Mary) of Grand Mound, David (Laddawan) of Davenport, Brian (Cheryl) of DeWitt, Rita Linnenbrink (Larry) of Donahue, Monica Anderson of Grand Mound, Clarice Sundeen (John) of Moline, Teresa Grimm (Carlie) of DeWitt, Mary Sundeen of Grand Mound, Jolene Whittemore (Michael) of Davenport, Annette Holst of DeWitt, Joyce Barnes (Pat) of DeWitt, Roberta Lewis (Gilbert) of Cedar Rapids, Camilla Lancaster (James) of DeWitt and Lisa Fox (Doyle) of DeWitt; her sisters, Frances Burke of DeWitt and Ida Green; and her sister-in-law Arlene Green of Grand Mound. She is also survived by 46 grandchildren, 76 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Saints Philip and James Catholic Church (606 Fulton St, Grand Mound, IA 52751). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at the Calvary Cemetery.
