He was predeceased by: his parents, Luis Heredia and Rosa Heredia; and his brother Jorge Heredia. He is survived by: his children, Timothy Ruiz, Jorge Luis Heredia, Hector L. Heredia (Elizabeth), Lazaro Heredia, Daniel Heredia (Patricia) and Minnie Heredia; his sister Roxani Heredia; his niece Ruby; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Victoria, Marielis and Julian. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
