She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbur Hendricks and Katherine Hendricks (Knapp); and her sister-in-law Geraldine Hendricks. She is survived by: her husband Gary; her children, Kelly Black (Kevin) of Gowrie, Chad of Waterloo and Greg (Jan Shull) of Indianola; her grandchildren, Bart Black, Lindsey Hjelle (Eric), Rebecca Greiner (Adam), Stephanie Halligan (Tommy), Anna Hammar-Tetreault (Sabian) and Isabelle Hammar (Brian Cespedes); and her siblings, Terry Hendricks of Cedar Rapids, Linda Hanes of Boone and Vicky Christensen (Roger) of Spirit Lake. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Palmer & Sons Funeral Home (1016 Church St, Gowrie, IA 50543). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
