In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sherdie Sr. Phillips and Wilma V. Phillips (Galbraith); and her sister C. Joan Pogue. She is survived by: her children, Lee Salek (Nicole) of Grandview and Kristy Hearn (Eric) of Letts; her grandchildren, Katie McCulley (Mason), Tori Hearn and Emilee Salek; and her siblings, Sherdie "Buck" Jr. (Sue) of Muscatine, Bradley Phillips (Cathy) of Letts, Joyce Coder (John) of Colorado and J. Rosemary Salemink (Dennis) of Omaha. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Pine Hall (2798 Casey Ave, Letts, IA 52754).
