He was predeceased by: his parents, William Clater and Dorothy Potter (Hamblen); his wife Kathleen Joann (Gilchrist); his siblings-in-law, Donna Clater, Gloria Clater and Jim Wilson; and also, William Clater and Dorothy Potter.
He is survived by: his children, William "Cory" Clater (Katie) and Angela White (Jason); his grandchildren, Matthew, Gavin, Breanna, Gillian and Gage; and his siblings, Kenneth Clater, Billy Clater (Cindy), Peggy Huffmon (Larry), Jim Clater and Nancy Wilson. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other extended family, and his circle of friends.
