He was predeceased by: his parents, Aloysius Heying and Marie Heying (Kuennen); his sister Arlene Vorthermsand; and his brother-in-law Erwin Vortherms. He is survived by: his siblings, Germaine Konz (Joe) of Granville, IA, Ken Heying (Dianne) of Sioux City, IA and Steve Heying (Patti) of San Antonio, TX.; and his sister-in-law Mary Ellen Heying (Eugene) of Granville, IA. He is also survived by 24 nieces and nephews.
