She was predeceased by: her parents, Ewald Poppe and Mary Poppe (Schmidt); her husband Joseph Clair Nettleton; and her siblings, Viola, Wayne and Dale.

She is survived by: her sons, Bruce Nettleton (Marti) of Woodbury, MN and Joseph Nettleton (Lori); her sister Diane Hartman; and her grandchildren, Vanessa Kuder (Daniel), Renee Nettleton (Mark Gobeli), Marc Nettleton (Jocelyn), Sofie Nettleton and J. Ryan Nettleton. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
