He was predeceased by: his father James Spencer; his grandparents, John Edwin and Inez Marzen; and his great-grandparents, Lou and Jessie Franke.
He is survived by: his partner Jan Austin of Greene; his partner's children, Chad Austin (Lisa) of Greene and Tara Austin of Greene; his mother Patricia Kilby (Marzen) of Nashua; and his siblings, Tami Molitor of Charles City, Steve Otto (Judy) of Aredale and Lonny Otto (Kim) of Lansing, Iowa.. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren.
