She was predeceased by: her parents, Fritz Mehmen and Irene Mehmen; her in-laws, John and Marie Schipper; her sister Judy Keenan; and her siblings-in-law, Cheryl Mehmen and Mike McCormack.

She is survived by: her husband Byron Schipper of Greene; her children, Dennis Murray (Jasmine) of Kalona, Iowa and Crystal Eckhoff (Mike) of Clarksville, Iowa; her grandsons, David Murray of Wellman, Austin and Ryan Eckhoff of Clarksville, Iowa.; her siblings, John Mehmen (Rozanne), Jane Rinehart (Bill), Betty McCormack, Jeanette Anderson (Frank), Gary Mehmen (Lori) and Ed Mehmen; and her siblings-in-law, Carol Josten (Jim) and Dave Schipper (Nancy). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
