He was predeceased by : his parents, Charlie Emory and Mildred Emory (Spooner); his sons, Michael Dean and Donald LeRoy; his brother Harlan (Sharon); his niece Sheryl Fink; and his sister-in-law Mary Myers.

He is survived by : his wife Waunita; his niece Sandy Kusel (John); and his brother-in-law Rick Fink.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lamb Funeral Home (101 SE 4th St, Greenfield, IA 50849). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Greenfield United Methodist Church (108 SW 5th St, Greenfield, IA 50849). A burial was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at the Greenfield Cemetery.
