Dean Luhrs Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dean Luhrs of Greenfield, Iowa, who passed away on January 17, 2024 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, John L. Luhrs and Johanna Luhrs (Stolk); his great grandchild Wyatt Coleman; his brother Dale L. Luhrs Sr.; his sister-in-law Violet Luhrs; and his niece Linda Mitchell.

He is survived by : his wife Alice Luhrs (Roberts); his children, Delene Fletcher (Greg) of North Liberty and John R. Luhrs of Casey; his grandchildren, Sarah Coleman (David) of Cedar Rapids, Hannah Fletcher (Joe Kalb) of Lafayette and Jacob Fletcher (Janet) of Ottumwa; and his great grandchildren, Wesley, Emmett Coleman, Benjamin, Theo Kalb, Noah Fletcher, Hailey, Brandi and Brittney. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorials: May be made to the Dean Luhrs Memorial Fund to be established by the family at a later date.
