She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Leach and Lela Leach (Witter). She is survived by: her husband Harold Nelson of Greenfield; her children, Pam Hanson (Phil) of Zimmerman, Mike Nelson (Lori) of Greenfield and Doug Nelson (JoAnn) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; her grandsons, Eric Nelson (Christa) of Grimes, Grant Nelson (Amber) of Osceola and Dr. Jon Hanson of Boston, Massachusetts; and her brother-in-law Jim Nelson of Winterset, Iowa. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.

Memorials: May be directed to the Pat Nelson Memorial Fund to be established by the family at a later date.
