He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Kephart and Tresa Kephart (Skellenger); his daughter Diane Boggs; and his sister Corma Allen. He is survived by: his wife Judy Kephart of Greenfield; his children, Richard Kephart of Urbandale, Pamela Whigam of Arizona and Kathy Miller of Arizona; his stepchildren, Don McKean (Missy) of Iowa, Joe McKean (Carey) of Iowa, Lisa McFarland (Geoff) of Iowa and David Moore (Dixie) of Iowa; and his sisters, Phyllis Lane (Frank) of Greenfield and Kay Kellenberg (Dennis) of Greenfield. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; many great grandchildren.

Memorials: May be directed to the Richard Kephart Memorial Fund to be established by the family at a later date.
