He was predeceased by: his parents, Oran Ludwig and Ruth Ludwig (Sears); and his siblings, Linda Ludwig and Ron Ludwig. He is survived by: his sons, Chris and Jon Ludwig; his brother Frank Ludwig; his nephew Bryon Ludwig; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Brooklyn, Bryon and Chelsy; and his cousins, Deb and Nancy. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
