She was predeceased by: her mother Ida; her grandmother Lucille Biggs; her siblings, Chata Martenia and Shaun Jackson; her niece Davina Martenia; and her nephew Royal Abram.

She is survived by: her husband Danny; her son William Oldes (Katie); her sisters, Renee Martenia, Tamara Martenia and Ethel Brown; and her pets, Raven and Rubicon. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Greater Life Church (2955 86th St, Urbandale, IA 50322). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Highland Memory Gardens (1 NE 60th Ave, Des Moines, IA 50313).
