We bid farewell to Algis J Praitis of Grinnell, Iowa, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 17, 2025 at the age of 93. Algis touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jonas Preikšaitis and Marija Putinaite Preikšaitis; his son Edward Praitis; and his sister Milda Preikšaitis Lamm. He is survived by: his daughters, Irena Praitis, Vida Praitis (Roger Hill) and Judith Praitis (David Apel); his daughter-in-law Janine Whan Tong; and his grandsons, Ishaan Praitis, Ezra Praitis Hill, Kendall Praitis Hill, Karl Praitis, Erik Praitis, Colin Praitis Apel, Garrett Praitis Apel and Aidan Praitis Apel (Brian Murdock).
