With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carol Stone of Grinnell, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 17, 2025 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Carol Stone to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John "Jack" Herbert Krull and Minnie Ruth Krull (Liverca); and her siblings, Larry Krull and Linda Bennett. She is survived by: her husband Marvin Stone of Grinnell; her children, Morgan Stone (Greta Anderson) of Ames, IA and Monica Tibben (David) of Stuart, IA; her grandsons, John and Jared; and her siblings, Gene Krull of Brooklyn Park, MN, Sharon Drake of Ames, IA, Dennis "Butch" Krull of Ankeny, IA, Donna Ennis of Eagle Grove, IA and Janet Drake (Steve) of Ankeny. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, the Immanuel Lutheran Church, or St. Francis Manor Foundation, and mailed in care of the Smith Funeral Home and Crematory, PO Box 368, Grinnell, IA 50112.
