She was predeceased by: her mother Catherine "Kitty" Russell (Quillin); her husband Paul Jackson Roberts; and her father John Russell. She is survived by: her children, Catherine "Kitty" Pearl, Jack Roberts (Bridget) of Colorado Springs, CO, Kitty Browne (Edward) of Austin, TX, Bobbye Schubert (Eric) of Grinnell, IA and John Roberts (Anna) of Honolulu, HI; her grandchildren, Elizabeth, Sahra-Marie, Sophia and Amalia Roberts; her children, Malachi, Anna, Athen, James Schubert, Kate and Charlie Roberts; and her siblings, Robert "Bob" Russell (Robin), Craig Russell (Erin) and Elizabeth "Libby" Russell (late Greg Paris). She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Grinnell United Methodist Church (916 5th Ave, Grinnell, IA 50112).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the following: Grinnell United Methodist Church, the Catherine A Roberts Endowed Scholarship at Austin Theological Presbyterian Seminary, or your local food pantry.
