With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Don Longhurst of Grinnell, Iowa, born in Muscatine, Iowa, who passed away on January 30, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frances Longhurst and Vera Longhurst; and his brothers-in-law, Francis Schmidthuber (Sharon) and Leo Kennedy. He is survived by: his wife Sue; his children, Kelly Weston (Jim), Ann Showers (Jeremy) and Michael Longhurst; his grandchildren, Mariah, Dominic Weston, Sam Showers and Damon Longhurst; his brother Ron (Phyllis); and his sister-in-law Diane Kennedy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
