She was predeceased by : her siblings, Stephens Smiley and Julia Richardson (Smiley); and her mother Alice Smiley (Stephens). She is survived by : her husband David; her children, Anne and Peter (Bridget Bird Ketter); her grandchildren, Elijah, Alexandra Busse and Amelia Ketter; her brother Charles Smiley; and her father Wilmoth Smiley.
