She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Bru and Josephine Bru; her brother Gary; her nephew Timothy; and her sister-in-law Carolyn.
She is survived by: her sons, Todd Tratchel (Jo Anne) of Grinnell and Bret Tratchel (Stephanie) of Cedar Falls; her grandchildren, Tommy, Carlie Tratchel, Peyton Clay (Noah) and Kale Smith (Bryce); her great grandchild Piper; her siblings, Dan (Rachel), David, Bob, Dennis (Tina), Kevin (Tammy) and Jana Bru; and her partner Lonnee Pickering. She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews and friends.
