He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Reed Conner and Rena Blanch Conner (Russell); his wife Shirley Wick; and his brother Donald Conner. He is survived by: his daughter Karen Thompson of Cedar Falls, Iowa; his grandchildren, Jason Thompson (Kristin), Bradley Thompson (Stephanie) and Amy Thompson; and his great grandchildren, Addison, Preston, Isabella, Ailey, Teagan and Fletcher. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition, he volunteered for 14 years with the Iowa State Fair Blue Ribbon Foundation.
