He is survived by: his children, Dallas Farber (Don) of Bettendorf, IA, Andrew Hobbs (Lesley) of Grinnell, Jacob Hobbs (Lyndsay) of Cedar Rapids, IA, Curtis Hobbs (Holly) of Johnston, IA and Riley Hobbs of Cedar Rapids, IA; his grandchildren, Meagan, Makenna Farber, Kegan, Kaylee Hobbs, Mason, Natalie Hobbs and Crosby Hobbs; and his siblings, Harold "Todd" Hobbs and Arminda "Mindy" Hobbs.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Smith Funeral Home - Grinnell (1103 Broad St, Grinnell, IA 50112). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
