He was predeceased by: his parents, William Frederick Bunger and Helen Martha Bunger (Pfeiffer); and his siblings, Warren Bunger and Myrna Bunger. He is survived by: his wife Suzanne Bunger of Grinnell; his son Joshua Bunger (Jenna) of Poolesville; his grandchildren, Ethan, Astrid and Jonas Bunger; his daughter Katie Bunger (Kevin Castro) of Washington, DC; his grandchildren, Grace, Charlie and Camden Castro; his siblings, Gary Bunger (Beverly) of Ashton, Illinois and Norene Bunger (Larry Hageman) of Rochelle, Illinois; and his sister-in-law Glenda Bunger of Rockford, Illinois..
