He is survived by: his wife Linda Goemaat of Grinnell; his brother Ron Goemaat (Chris) of Santa Ana, CA; his children, Beth Smith (Rick) of Modesto, CA and Lowell Dean Goemaat Jr. (Georgia) of Union, KY; and his stepsons, Chester Figland (Vickie) of Monroe, IA, Mike Figland (Lisa) of Knoxville, IA and Nick Figland (Kristy) of Kellogg, IA. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren; 14 step-grandchildren; and altogether 34 great-grandchildren.
