He was predeceased by: his parents, Eldon George and Anna Anderson (Gaydos); his sisters, Elizabeth (Bobby Barrickman) and Emily Spearing; and his nephews, Robert Spearing and Chris Barrickman.
He is survived by: his wife Sheryl Wallis of Grinnell; his children, Eric Anderson and Jaunita Anderson; his siblings-in-law, Paul Spearing (Karen) of Unionville, MO, Gary Wallis (Marilyn) of Fairview, TX and Marilyn Cram (Phil) of St. Johns, FL; and his nieces and nephews, Kelly McCullough, Scott Wallis, Whitney Forster and Ryan Cram.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Hazelwood Cemetery (120 1st Ave W, Grinnell, IA 50112). A reception will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 2:45 PM to 4:30 PM at the Newburg-Chester Congregational Church (15212 Newcomer Ave, Grinnell, IA 50112).
If desired, memorial contributions may be designated to the Newburg Chester Church.
