He was predeceased by : his parents, Irvineus Sylvester and Mary Catherine Myren (Graves). He is survived by : his wife Linda Holtz; his children, Rev. Steven Myren (Robin) of Pennsburg, PA, Dr. Lori Myren-Manbeck (Ray Caron) of Saint Louis Park, MN, David Myren (Sharon Doerre) of Austin, TX and Bobbi Jo Boggs (Jim) of Gilman, IA; his grandchildren, Emily Gomez (Sam Runyan), Andy Myren (Britt), Katherine Myren-Manbeck, Adrienne Myren-Manbeck, Alexander Myren, Raiya Myren, William Myren and Tiernan Boggs; and his brother Richard "Dick" Myren (Sandy). He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 6th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the United Church of Christ - Congregational (902 Broad St, Grinnell, IA 50112).
