With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sandra Gruman of Grinnell, Iowa, who passed away on October 10, 2025 at the age of 52. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son Andrew. She is survived by: her parents, Edward F. Kalous and Mary Colette J. Kalous (Roth) of Marion, Iowa.; her husband William (Bill); her children, Adam (Elizabeth) of Ely, Iowa, Ryan of Chariton, Iowa, Monica and Emily; and her siblings, Theresa Milton (Gordon) of Blue Springs, Missouri and Edward J Kalous (Gina) of Norfolk, Nebraska. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated to the Osage Fire Department or the Grinnell Fire Department and mailed in care of the Smith Funeral Home, PO Box 368, Grinnell, IA 50112.
