He was predeceased by: his father Fred Johnson; his uncle Wendell Kinnaird; and his cousin Mike Shope. He is survived by: his mother Patricia Peak Johnson of Grinnell; his sisters, Gigi Burkett (Rick) and Michelle Greiner (Greg); his daughters, Sara Johnson of Adel, IA and Amber Utt (Austin) of Adel; his grandchildren, Kyra, Koda, Lucas, Riley and Gracie; his stepdaughter Jessie Anderson (Brenda) of Grinnell; his aunts, Jean Kinnaird of Grinnell and Darlene Shope (Jim) of Toledo, IA; and his uncle Robert Peak of Grinnell. He is also survived by 27 nieces and nephews.
