It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Worthin Edward Grattan of Grinnell, Iowa, who passed away at the age of 88, on May 26, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leland Gordon and Stephanie Louise Grattan (Camp); and his brothers, Albert and Gordon. He is survived by: his daughter Lynn Lucille (Linda); his wife Maretta DeVaun Jones; his son Ed Grattan (Jaye); his grandchildren, Sydney and Steven Nixon; his sister Julie Colburn (TJ); and his sister-in-law Helen Grattan. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the Smith Funeral Home - Grinnell (1103 Broad St, Grinnell, IA 50112). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Grinnell Christian Church (1331 Hobart St, Grinnell, IA 50112).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be designated to the LICA Scholarship program or to Central Iowa Christian School.
