He was predeceased by: his parents, Marjorie Ann Humbert (Knox) and Hollis Humbert; his parents-in-law, Betty and Jack Gerlach; his brother Jerry Humbert; and his brothers-in-law, Nick Powell (Sally) and Jerry Ewalt.
He is survived by: his daughter Erin Humbert of Griswold; his wife Dawnelle Humbert of Griswold; his daughters, Andrea Humbert of Des Moines and Morgan Humbert of Griswold; his stepson Jeremy Bailiff of Yutan, NE; his sister Denise Spragg (John) of Port St; his siblings-in-law, Kathleen Foster (Brad) of Davenport and Jay Ewalt of Rockport, TX; his grandchildren, Kodi, Alex Jensen, Brynleigh Bonnesen, Roman, Royal Rodriguez, Justin, McKenna, Jackson and Maddox Bailiff; and his great grandchild Cohen Bailiff. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Roland Funeral Service (204 E 5th St, Atlantic, IA 50022). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the family for later designation.
