She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Lynch and Mabel Lynch; her husband Elmer Colin; her siblings, Keith Lynch and Katheryn Adams; her brother-in-law Robert Adams; and her stepbrother James Kerr.
She is survived by: her children, Bob Colin (Sandi) of Johnston, Laura Heeren (Loren) of Grundy Center, Dave Colin (Kathy) of Conrad and Roger Colin (Stephanie) of Fort Dodge; her grandchildren, Brian Heeren, Amy Roth (Mike), Jenny Bagenstos (Clint), Jeff Colin, Erin Colin, Chris Weis (Kelly), Miles Weis (Cara), Zach Weis (Danielle), Nikkole Scheid (Nik), Bobby Colin (Taylor), Megan Stowell (Brandon) and Zach Colin; and her stepbrother John Kerr. She is also survived by twenty great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 26th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the American Lutheran Church (1103 F Ave, Grundy Center, IA 50638). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 26th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be directed to the American Lutheran Church or Oakview Nursing Home.
