With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John E. Ridenour of Grundy Center, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 19, 2025 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Merwin Ridenour and Rose Ridenour (Hasselschwert); his former wife Debra Hale; and his sister Mary Ridenour. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Minarik; his children, Tessa Ridenour of Moline and Jamerson Ridenour of Moline; his stepchildren, Mark Greiner (Tanya) of Holland, Kevin Greiner (Katie) of Ankeny, Shayla Wedmore (Chris) of Bellevue, Kent Greiner (Valerie) of Ankeny and Marisa Richmann (Jeremy) of Bellevue; and his grandchildren, Tremayne Ralston and Madison Taylor.
A burial was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 12:45 PM to 1:00 PM and at 1:00 PM. A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Trimble Funeral Home & Crematory (701 12th St, Moline, IL 61265).
