He was predeceased by: his parents, August Steinmeyer and Grace Steinmeyer (Rozevink); his son Perry Steinmeyer; his grandchildren, Stephanie Mandrell and Kyle McNeil; his sisters, Mary Henze, Ann Meyers and Barbara Wical; his son-in-law Joseph McNeil; and his brother Alvin Dean Steinmeyer.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Verly; his daughters, Beverly Steinmeyer and Linda Steinmeyer; his grandchildren, Adam, Jordan, Natalie, Abby, Jamie, Christian, Chelsea and Nicole; his siblings, James Steinmeyer (Janice), JoAnn Wrage, Alice Kolthoff, Rozella Riebkes (Lary) and Wanda Sovereign; and his daughter-in-law Susan Steinmeyer. He is also survived by 24 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
