He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Baker and Jeannette Baker (Moore); and his siblings, David, Joylyn and Alice.
He is survived by: his wife Helen (Risting); his sons, Randy Baker of Newton, IA, Jeff Baker (Toni) of Virginia Beach, VA and Tim Baker (Michelle) of Eden Prairie, MN; his grandchildren, Lisa Baker, Matthew, Zachary, Jesse, Curtis and Joshua; his great grandchildren, Carson, Mackenzie, Kendall, Emil, Felix, Everly and Zoey; and his sister Linda Farkas (Ed).
Visitation was held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the First Presbyterian Church (801 8th St, Grundy Center, IA 50638). A memorial service was held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the First Presbyterian Church or Cedar Valley Hospice.
