We are sad to announce that on June 15, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Wanda Lou Akers of Grundy Center, Iowa, born in Holland, Iowa. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Henry Werkman and Anna Werkman (Schmidt); her husband Gordon Akers; and her sister Marge Meester. She is survived by : her daughters, LuJean Muller (Mike) and Robin Halupnick (Craig); her grandchildren, Jeff Muller (Amy), Missy Haynes (Nick), Kayla Bartels (Chris Crowl) and Zach Bartels (Jacie Bown); and her sisters, Lanette Saathoff, Arlene Haupt (Melvin), Lois Meester and Diane Ascher. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
